Dr. David Nicholl, neurologist and human rights campaigner, ran the London Marathon on 26 April 2015 in an orange jumpsuit, calling for the closure of Guantánamo and the release of Shaker Aamer, and also ran around the White House last week to highlight Shaker’s case. A supporter of We Stand With Shaker, he says, “President Obama, you’ve been sending us round the houses over Shaker’s case, which is why I ran around your house, the White House last week. Shaker has waited long enough, no more games, send him back to London to be with his family.”
