Human rights campaigner Hamja Ahsan - whose brother Talha was held for six years without charge or trial in the UK on groundless terror charges and then extradited to the US where he was sentenced to time served after a plea deal and released - supports We Stand With Shaker, and says, “Shaker has a loving family waiting far too long for him to return home in London. We should all be inspired by their fortitude through this unjustified trauma. They visited my mother soon after my brother Talha was extradited to the US, in 2012, just to show they care. We stand with Shaker - the survivor, the witness to torture, the truth teller - until justice is granted.”
